Intelligence,
made tangible.

Product strategy, interaction and physical–digital experience design.

01 / Practice & running order

Three scales of product design.

A deeper Bentley walkthrough, a digital product from research to launch, and a brief look at what I’m building now.

A 15-minute rehearsal route, including the opening and reflection. We can spend more time on the decisions you would like to explore.

02 / Bentley context

AI Curation Engine.
A connected cabin experience.

My Bentley work connected emerging AI capabilities with passenger needs, then made the ideas concrete enough to prototype and review.

EXP 15 published concept imagery / Bentley Motors. The detailed ADV work is explored separately in the private case.
Driver / CID

Focused information

Glanceable status, navigation and clear feedback, including the physical–digital Mechanical Marvel work.

Passenger

Richer exploration

Content, places and experiences connected to the people and purpose of the journey.

Cabin

Coordinated behaviour

Light, sound, haptics and other sensory layers considered alongside the screen.

03 / Scope & authorship

My role within the programme.

01 / I led

Discovery through prototype and handoff

For Luxury Navigation ADV, I led research, personas and journeys, use cases, screen flows/UI, multisensory behaviour, workshops, prototyping and handoff.

02 / I designed

The relationship between people, screens and context

Driver-facing CID and passenger content, plus interaction, movement and lighting concepts for Mechanical Marvel within the wider EXP 15 work.

03 / I collaborated

Experience and technical development together

One engineer for buck testing, Bareways for data/API, the UI team for interface design, and DCA on Mechanical Marvel. I reported to the Creative UX and Product Innovation team manager.

Bentley period: October 2023–June 2025. Programme contributions and specific ADV deliverables are described separately in the case studies.

04 / Discovery

Connect a capability to a real situation.

Customer discovery and cross-industry benchmarking informed the wider AI programme. Journey mapping gave that direction a concrete setting.

01

Understand

People, context, needs and the limits of the available evidence.

02

Frame

A specific situation, an actor, a trigger and the response they need.

03

Make

Screen flows, interaction states and a prototype the team can review.

04

Review

Feasibility, attention cost, control and what to validate next.

Bentley

Couple, family and solo journeys connect planning, the in-car experience and what happens after arrival.

Grounded Carbon

Research with 40+ participants, beta usability testing and four rounds of iteration shaped the platform.

Explore research and product decisions ↗

The walkthrough distinguishes a design hypothesis from an observed finding, and a prototype result from a production outcome.

05 / Multisensory design

A shared language across the cabin.

I considered what each element should communicate, when it should appear and how the person could control it.

EXP 15 material and lighting detail
01 / Material — light, texture and physical detail
EXP 15 tactile curation controller
02 / Interaction — tactile control and feedback
Mechanical Marvel motion and light mechanism
03 / Behaviour — content, movement and timing

Published EXP 15 and Mechanical Marvel imagery / Bentley Motors and DCA Design. These illustrate design materials, not ADV test results.

The review

The decisions behind the work.

01

Ownership

What I led, what I made, and where partners contributed.

02

End to end

How research became use cases, prototypes and a handoff.

03

Interaction & visual craft

Screen hierarchy, interaction states, motion and sensory behaviour.

04

Research & evidence

The methods, observations and limits behind a decision.

05

Decisions & trade-offs

What we prioritised, what we left out and why.

06

Collaboration

How I worked with engineers, UI designers and external partners.

07

Implementation & handoff

How the intended behaviour was communicated and reviewed.

08

Outcomes & reflection

What the work achieved and what I would change next.

A short closing view / ANSOR

When the interface has no screen.

ANSOR explores body-state AI embodied in modular jewellery: helping people understand changes in the context of everyday life. My design focus is how the product fits daily wear, how someone adds context, and when guidance should appear.

Everyday wear

A physical form people can live with, across different moments of the day.

Personal context

Leave room for what a person knows about their experience.

Clear guidance

Communicate simply, with agency and control remaining with the person.

Early product development / CEO & Co-Founder, June 2026–present.
